Well. Well…

Happy Valentine’s Day.

It’s been a good day, all things said and done. It’s been a varied day. Morning was excellent, and then I got my GOE scores back. ::Sigh:: I’m still processing them, so more on that later, but there were moments of, shall we say: intense negative emotion. And then I went to the class that is alternately moderately enjoyable and downright offensive, and wrote a ficlet for my flist for V’s Day. Haven’t done that in years…

And I came home from field ed to find that Internet connectivity has been restored!

So, I present to you, completely unbetaed, the little ficlet. I wrote it all in dialogue, to see if I could. I’ll let you be the judge. If I’d had more time, there would have been more of the fic, but so it goes. I had to participate in class and that did take quite a bit of my attention away from Viktor and Hermione. So. I’m feeling better – I just wanted to put that out there first. And second, I’m avoiding doing some real work in the lab, and so just now I’m drinking my contraband coffee (the joys of being the manager of the lab – i can abuse my power) and burning a three volume soundtrack to Firebolt Ring so it can stay in my car for when I forget my iPod. (Which is often.)
