Jesus was NOT a misogynist

…Oh, but his male followers were. And for some of the women who followed him, there was plenty of internalized misogyny… though not for all of them. Some of the women who followed Jesus did not know “their place”; they had more faith then the men and they demonstrated it, they had more courage than the men and they demonstrated it, they had more insight than the men and they demonstrated.

And Jesus? Jesus acknowledged it when he saw it, and he did it so boldly that the gospel writers couldn’t gloss over it, even if they put their own spin on it…
