It has taken me so long to realize in my writing life that the thing that creates my writer’s block is the very thing I should not be avoiding, but leaning into. It is the next step in my learning, the next step in my personal growth, the next step in my deepening self awareness.

This is true in my non-writing life, as well. The thing that stymies me is the thing I need to lean into, focus on, work out. What about you?
