Sometimes we have to go away – get out of our house, out of our heads, out of our routines – in order to encounter God. But the point is that encountering God changes us and changes us permanently if we let it. We go away, because sometimes it’s easier to encounter God while we’re away.
But then we come back, and we bring the differences with us… with us.
