Note to self:
It is stressful to move.
It is stressful to move back in with your mother.
It is stressful to have to move twice in 6 weeks.
It is stressful to face fiscal reality and plan budgets.
It is stressful to hunt for apartments.
It is stressful to hunt for apartments while visiting with friends in an adjacent state.
It is stressful to start a new job.
And yet it is wonderful. It is completely and utterly, magnificently wonderful. The next chapter of the rest of my life. Yay! I get to hang out with my niece and nephews. I get to be useful to my mother. I get to sleep in til at least seven every morning. I get to do lots of things. But writing? ::sigh:: I’m hoping that when I go to visit rakaiagirl in Massachusetts I’ll write some more on the next bit of Firebolt Ring, at least in the evenings, but who knows? I start my job July 1st. Perhaps once I begin, and thus have some sort of stable schedule (er, sort of), my life will settle ever-so-slightly and I will once more approximate normal.
I haven’t even read fic. You know it’s bad when you don’t have the time/energy to read fic. ::sighs::
